Namings & 'Christening' Ceremonies

A new baby is a wonderful time for celebration and One Life Ceremonies will create a personal and memorable Naming or ‘Christening’ ceremony to introduce your new baby to his or her circle of family and friends.

We will guide you through the options and listen to your ideas so that we can design the ceremony around you and your family.

One Life Ceremonies offer

• A meeting with you at home to discuss your ceremony.
• Choice and flexibility over the words, readings and promises you want to include.
• A professionally written ceremony.
• Venue ideas, for example at home, in a marquee or a local hotel or hall.
• A trained One Life Conductor of Ceremonies to perform your ceremony on the day.
• A presentation copy of the script for you to keep.

We are committed to providing a high quality, professional service, and to ensure you are completely happy with your ceremony you will receive a draft copy within 14 days to which you can make any changes or additions if you wish.

We can create ceremonies for newborns, older children, adopted or step children.

The Ceremony Every ceremony is unique to you and your family, and can be as formal or informal as you like. Your ceremony can be held wherever you like; many people choose to hold them at home or in the garden, but a park or local beauty spot are also perfect locations. For ceremonies which involve young children it is usually best to keep them to a maximum length of 15-20 minutes.
